Dr. Stephen Neuss founded Packanack Animal Hospital over 25 years ago. We’ve grown to three veterinarians now, who are supported by a full staff of excellent technicans and an extensively-equipped facility – including a digital x-ray, a comprehensive in-house lab, a modern surgical suite, and even our own ultrasound machine. We are open 6 days per week, so you can always get in to see a doctor. We couple modern, medical excellence with highly compassionate care.
Puppies, kittens, adult and senior pets can all find friendly staff and homey comforts in our beautiful, modern facility. When you bring your pet to our animal hospital, you not only come to a veterinary practice, you come home to family.
We offer same day appointments, because we know that when something is off with your best friend, you want to get them checked out right away. Just call us at 973-305-3652 and Jalyn or Cecilia at our front desk will get you in to see one of our doctors ASAP.

Certified “Cat Friendly”
We worked hard to earn the “Cat Friendly Practice” certification from the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Packanack Veterinary Hospital has a dedicated exam room and waiting area for feline patients.
